Mr. Healthy's Diet Guidelines


  • 100% Whole Grains (Bread, Cereal, Pasta, Brown Rice)

  • Fruits and Vegetables (Juice them 1-2 times per day)

  • Poultry, Eggs, Fish

  • Beans - All kinds

  • Unsalted Nuts - Almonds, Walnuts, Cashews, Peanuts, etc.

  • Olive Oil, Vegetable Oils

  • 1 Alcoholic Beverage per day (if middle-aged)

  • 1 Multivitamin per day, w/ optional supplements

  • Plenty of water

  • Keep dairy products to a minimum


Mr. Healthy avoids the following:

  • Fast Food

  • Saturated Fat

  • The burned parts of grilled food

  • Dairy (keep it low)

  • Salt

  • Red Meat

  • White Flour (Bread, Rice, Pasta)

  • Potatoes (unless after a workout)

  • Soda

  • Chips

  • Sugar (Sugary fruit juice, candy, pastry)
