One of the oldest scams is that of the "magic pill" that solves some kind of problem without any real effort on your behalf.
Unfortunately, when it comes to weight loss, there is simply no magic pill.
We've all seen those cheesy pill containers that have some swimsuit model on the cover or a guy with 6-pack abs.

If this isn't one of the biggest scams in the world, I don't know what is. To think that someone could achieve this level of fitness from pills is beyond ridiculous.
Let's make this abundantly clear:
1. Being in shape is result of your lifestyle
2. Diet pills are not part of a healthy lifestyle
"Boost Your Metabolism" is what most of these pills claim to do. It's a complete scam and waste of money.
To add insult to injury, some of these diet pills have ingredients in them that are bad for your heart or are simply loaded with caffeine.
That's right, you're shelling out money to buy some magical pills that are only loaded with caffeine and synthetic garbage that could harm you. If you want a boost of caffeine energy, you might as well drink a cup of coffee. At least it's natural.

So if you're thinking about buying diet pills, you're already on the lazy path to failure.
Instead, map out a plan of cutting calories, while burning calories with exercise. Here are some questions you should be asking yourself when planning to get in shape:
1. Which days will I exercise, and for how long?
2. What kinds of exercises will I be doing? (Cardio, Weights, Sports, etc.)
3. Which high-calorie foods and drinks can I cut back on, daily?
Once again, you should only be focusing on diet and exercise. Forget about diet pills - they're not even considered a shortcut - just a scam.
