What's your morning routine?

Most people wake up each morning and either jump right in the shower, or head straight for breakfast or coffee.

Here's an idea: How about doing just a few small exercises at your bedside, before anything else?

All it takes is 2-3 minutes of some simple exercises that will not only burn a few calories and wake you up, but help keep your muscles toned.

For just a few minutes each morning, try any of these simple exercises - right out of bed:

  • stretching
  • pushups
  • situps
  • crunches (lay on your back and lift your knees up)
  • squats
  • lunges
  • bicep curls (w/ light weight dumbells)
  • shoulder presses (w/ light weight dumbells)

Staying toned keeps your metabolism high, and makes it easy to stay slim, because muscle tissue naturally burns more calories than fat.

So if you can't make it to the gym, give these little exercises a try before you have your power breakfast. You'll feel better throughout the day!
